Here at The Chimes we like to make sure we get involved in our local community.
We're keen to get involved with any community projects whether it'd be a small donation to a local university or college for a project or physically getting our hands dirty at a local pond!
The Chimes' has worked on several community projects in the past including:

The Chimes Green Team
The Chimes Green Team Makeover Uxbridge Common Pond
One of our adventures was based around our Chimes Green Team.
The Chimes green team and their keen volunteers helped the local community by taking part in a rejuvenation project at Uxbridge Common in October last year. The Pond and Coney Green were the two worthy finalists and put to a public vote to win a green makeover from The Chimes Green Team.
Uxbridge Common Pond won with over 60 percent of the public vote and will receive the green makeover from The Chimes Green Team who is working alongside Hillingdon Council’s Green Spaces Team.
Uxbridge Common Pond is an important haven for wildlife and provides a unique habitat for many species. The Chimes Green Team will be clearing the pond of weeds and extending an area of gorse near the pond to provide nesting and roosting sites for small birds and bats.
Jean Palmer, Director of Planning, Environment & Community Services at Hillingdon Council said: “Uxbridge Common Pond is home a wide variety of wildlife that many visitors can enjoy. The Go Green initiative has helped to enhance the area and I would like to thank all the volunteers who have taken the time to help with the improvements to the common."
